Jango Fett is a minor antagonist in the Star Wars universe. He is also the secondary antagonist of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
Jango Fett is Mandalorian bounty hunter, a species that fights using many weapons, and wears armor forged from an almost impenetrable mineral known as beskar. The armor is famous in the Outer Rim, based on the Clone trooper armor.
Jango Fett is first seen when he hired assasin Zam Wessell to murder Padmé Amidala. However, the assasin failed by getting chased by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and that's what caused Fett to fire a saberdart at Wessel, right in the throat. Kenobi find him on Kamino, and Fett explains that he was "recruited by a man called Tyrannus on one of the moons of Bogden", that he was a genetic model of the Republic's Clone troopers, and he has allowed another model, Boba, to be his son. Fett later engages Kenobi, but he soon escapes the Jedi Knight.
Then Kenobi tracks Fett's starship, the Slave 1, to Geonosis. When Kenobi was captured by Count Dooku, the Jedi Knight sent a signal to Skywalker and Amidala, but they too have been captured.
On the Pentraki Execution Arena, many other Jedi Knights try to prevent the fate of the trio. One such Jedi was Coleman Trebor, who went after Dooku, but Fett fought Trebor off. A few minutes into the battle, the Reek, now being controlled by Kenobi, rammed Fett and jammed his jetpack. Master Mace Windu then went after him. Fett tried to get away, but it was no use, and Windu quickly decapitated the bounty hunter. Fett's ultimate fate then haunted his son Boba for years to come.
